“She was calling me, saying ‘Mama, I am so tired. I so much want to sleep. It must have been the very beginning of the illness… and then her temperature shot up. I didn’t sleep myself and was calling her constantly, begging her to go to a hospital.”
The sad and tragic incident raises a lot of questions on how the models are forced to work for extra hours and how difficult it is for them to do shows that can disturb them mentally and physically.
Most of the fashion agencies in the world would consider the Russian too young to start her career as a professional model but the industry is cruel and is going for young and beautiful models. They don’t care about the age and the workload.
The personal space and time of the models is ignored. There are many cases of drug addictions among the models around the world. They choose drugs to stay calm and relieved after the tiring workload. Even though these are too dangerous for their health, physically and mentally.
According to the report, the model didn’t visit the hospital when she was in need for it. She chose work over her health. She was working with a Chinese modeling agency on a three-month contract.
