WhatsApp is the most popular messaging service application. The application is getting better with each update the company is coming with.
Last year, the messaging service updated its services by bringing voice and video calls. There are a number of features WhatsApp has and that is why it is one of the most used messaging services in the world.
According to reports, WhatsApp is all set to bring its blockbuster feature. The latest hints from beta suggest that the messaging service is bringing group calls to the app.
The messaging service is owned by the social media giant, Facebook. The new feature can be seen in the latest beta. WaBetaInfo revealed.
WaBestIndo leaked the hidden features that are in the new 2.17.70 beta release.
That means that with the new feature, WhatsApp will allow its users to add multiple people in a single voice call, in short, you can carry out a group voice call.
WaBetaInfo tweeted and it went viral:
“There are a lot of hidden references about group voice calls, but there is only one reference to group video calls”.
This is not the first time this Twitter account fore-casted something. Previously, this account accurately predicted a number of features in WhatsApp that were not announced, based on the references within the beta version.
The tweet reads:
“The 2.17.70 iOS update has very hidden references to group calls!
Before it was an internal news, now it’s all confirmed
For example, WhatsApp 2.17.70 sends a request to the server to ask if the user you are calling is in another group call!”
The popular messaging service uses Voice Over IP (VOIP) so its user can talk to their WhatsApp contacts. This service helps a lot of users who have to make International calls. This service allows them to place the call for free. Yes, they can only make calls to the users who have the app installed on their devices.
If this news is true, and WhatsApp is testing a new feature, then all those people using the app, you would soon make group voice calls!
