Finally the wait is over and Google has joined the party in unveiling it’s new phone. The successor to it’s Pixel flagship phones will be unveiled in an event on October 4.

Google uploaded a video on it’s official YouTube channel. The clip hints that the new phone will have a better battery life, an amazing camera and a solid performance.

Things didn’t end as expected. At the end of this very video, the search engine giant links to the #MadeWithGoogle page where there is animation waiting for you. It reads: “Thinking about changing phones? Stay tuned for more on October 4.”

The page then links the users who are interested about the phone and event to fill their email ids for more updates.

There were some leaked images of Google Pixel 2 online a few weeks backs but the date of unveiling was a mystery for many of us.

It will be interesting to see how Google’s new phone will give a tough time to Apple’s new iPhone X.
