The world is celebrating the Mental Health Day today. As a nation we still fall behind as far as our attitude towards people with special mental health conditions is concerned, we treat them as a joke sometimes. This is what a majority of us are taught since childhood and this is what they do even as grown ups.
Mental Health Day should be promoted in Pakistan as we are a nation that suffers from a lot of issues but we never accept them as problems and spend our lives in denial. I for one had anger issues for a long time, I simply consulted a psychologist(a friend) and she helped me overcome that in a natural way, I still lose my mind once in a while but mostly where it is justified. You will never find me going all Gullu Butt on someone.
Gullu Butt reminds me of someone who was disqualified for life because of corruption and is yet to figure out mujhe kyun nikaala. We pray for his health as well on Mental Health Day.
We're still in the dark ages with mental health. We need to stop the false divide between physical and mental health. #WorldMentalHealthDay

There is a difference in physical and mental health. I workout, I’m physically fit, doesn’t necessarily mean I’m completely okay. I may or may not have other issues that need both, an expert’s attention and family’s support.
We’re all absolutely nuts in our own way, so it’s key to never feel weird for talking about what goes on in your head #WorldMentalHealthDay

No idea is a bad idea and nothing is weird anymore in the world that we live in. Speak up, be fearless and the world will accept you as who you are. The only person who needs to believe in you is you!
It's ok to worry about yourself
It's ok to ask for help
It's ok to need a hand
It's ok to talk
It's ok to not be ok#WorldMentalHealthDay

Its okay to ask for help. You can stay in denial only to make the condition worse, if there is an issue the best idea is to go look for a solution. Go find a helping hand and get to fix the problem. Don’t keep it all to yourself, open up as the world is doing on
